SMART lab received a research grant from ABS and NIST for AM research

SMART lab is partnering with the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS, the sub-contractor), University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley, University of Texas – Austin, the Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State University to work on the project for developing Standards/Guidance for Rapid Qualification of Metal-based Additive Manufacturing (AM), sponsored by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
